Mumbai:

Veteran film and TV actor Kiran Kumar has tested positive for coronavirus and is currently under home isolation. The 74-year-old actor said he is asymptomatic and is doing ‘absolutely fine’. ‘I am asymptomatic. On May 14, I went to the hospital for a medical check-up, where the COVID-19 test was mandatory. So I got my test done and the result was positive.

‘But I didn’t have any symptoms then and neither do I now. I have no fever, no cough, I am fine and self-quarantined at home. The actor, who has worked in films like “Dhadkan”, “Mujhse Dosti Karoge”, said it has been ten days since the tests were done and he still hasn’t developed any symptoms.

‘My family lives on the second floor of the building and I am on the third floor now. On May 26 or May 27, I am going to have my second test done. At the moment I am fine. As of Saturday, Maharashtra recorded a total of 47,190 coronavirus cases, taking the death toll to 1,577, according to the state health department.
